

Technology Education Research


GIA CYBER believe that access to emerging technology education should not depend on a person’s zip code, income level, or technical background. Through our partnership with the Raspberry Pi Foundation and research inspired by Google DeepMind, we help bring some of the most important and forward thinking AI education initiatives of our time directly into the communities we serve.
Our role goes beyond simply sharing information. GIA CYBER works as a bridge between large scale global AI research and the everyday learner. With the support of educators, technology professionals, and community partners, we take advanced research and transform it into practical, approachable, and community friendly learning resources for libraries, teachers, students, parents, and individual learners.
Many of the families and communities we support across New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania may not always have access to the infrastructure, guidance, or opportunities traditionally connected to emerging technologies. Our mission is to help close that gap by translating complex AI concepts into hands on, understandable, and meaningful learning experiences that people can actually use in real life.
We believe this new era of AI should be accessible to everyone, not only to those already connected to elite institutions or advanced technical environments. By adapting global educational research into practical tools and workshops for local communities, GIA CYBER helps learners build confidence, curiosity, and skills that prepare them for the future in a way that feels personal, relevant, and achievable.
Whether through libraries, schools, workshops, youth programs, or community centers, our goal is simple: take powerful knowledge and make it usable, welcoming, and accessible for the communities that need it most.

James Kiamie
James is an accomplished educator with more than 15 years of experience teaching chemistry, science, engineering, and mathematics in New Jersey public schools. Currently a Chemistry Teacher with Passaic Public Schools, he has also served students in Paterson and Boonton, where he taught a wide range of STEM subjects and helped lead educational initiatives focused on student success and character development.
Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from The Cooper Union and a Juris Doctor from Rutgers University School of Law.
